The Robin
Pub Exterior, Crouch Hill

Case Study

The Brief

The Robin's owners wanted Quantum Landscapes to brighten up the exterior wall of their pub and create a hospitable environment to draw in clientele from the passing street.

The Challenge

The exterior wall is very long and situated on a busy north London street with all the traffic and pollution that entails. It was previously graffitied by an artist. Although it looked dynamic, it failed to resonate with the area.

The Solution

Three separate green wall panels were proposed to cover a wider expanse of the wall for a cost-effective solution. Hanging plants concealing the guttering and suspended pots were incorporated to bring cohesivity to the design and to cover the remaining surface area of the wall. Everything is fitted with an Integrated water and feeding system for ease of maintenance.
